Pay close attention to the sections I will be highlighting from 1 Corinthians 15:24-28. In context, it first talks about Yeshuah being the firstfruits of the final resurrection. It continues with:
1 Corinthians 15:24-28
Then comes the end, when He hands the Kingdom over to God the Father, when He abolishes all rule and all authority and power. For He must reign until He puts all His enemies under His feet. The last enemy to be abolished is death. For God has put everything under His feet. But when it says “everything” is put under Him, it is obvious that He who puts everything under Him is the exception. And when everything is subject to Christ, then the Son Himself will also be subject to the One who subjected everything to Him, so that God may be all in all.
In this letter, Paul clearly states that once Yeshuah has abolished death and raised everyone, He will hand everything that God the Father handed to Him back to God the Father, and that Yeshuah (who is our Ruler) will be a subject to the rule of God the Father.
Never forget - we worship YHWH. We pray to YHWH. It was YHWH's love that SENT Yeshuah for us (John 3:16). And in the end, our ultimate ruler is YHWH. Yeshuah is our Ruler under YHWH, and directs us in everything He does and says to obey YHWH, the only One and True God and our Creator.
You must go through Yeshuah to get to YHWH. However, you are not going through Yeshuah to get to Yeshuah. He is not the end. He is the true shepherd and Gatekeeper. This is another side of that gate - the sweet pasture of the Owner of all the pastures - YHWH.
Do not dishonor Yeshuah by getting so focused on Him you lose sight of His Master and Father whom He gave His life to point us toward. Honor Him by honoring His Father.
Man shall not live by bread alone, but by EVERY WORD the proceeds from the mouth of YHWH. Salvation is from YHWH. It is not from Yeshuah. It is THROUGH Yeshuah, but it comes from the orders, design and heart of YHWH, who is ruler over all, and who placed all things under Yeshuah (for a time, according to Paul).
Yeshuah said the MOST important command in ALL of Torah is "You will love YHWH your God and serve only Him". He did not say "Love Me more than My Father". He did not say "Praise Me instead of My Father". He said to always pray to the Father. He said to give all glory to the Father. He said that anyone who does not listen to Moses will not listen to Him.
I post this out of a concern for a direction I have observed in elevating the Son above the Father - directly against His own instructions. This is dangerous. It can even be considered idolatry if giving glory that belongs to the Father to the Son instead. Both of them clearly spoke against this.
Yeshuah is God, but He is not the Father. Honor our Lord Yeshuah and His death and resurrection by clinging to the Father as He desires.
